What is the backup and data ownership policy?

Your data on Back4app is protected by an automated backup strategy:

• Free Plan: Backups are not included.
• Paid Plans: Automatic daily snapshots retained for 7 days.
• Dedicated Plans: (i) Automatic daily snapshots retained for 7 days. (ii) For Dedicated plans purchased on or after 25 June 2025, automatic hourly backups retained for 3 days, along with daily snapshots retained for 7 days and weekly snapshots retained for 28 days. Point-in-Time Restore (PITR) is available as an optional add-on. (iii) For Postgres databases, Point-in-Time Restore (PITR) is not available. Automatic daily backups are performed and retained for 30 days.
• Enterprise Plans: Customized backup policies tailored to your organization's requirements.
